Christina L. (Lynch) Arel, 80, of Manchester passed away Friday, January 20th following
a long illness. She was surrounded by her loving family.
Christina was born in Manchester on October 26, 1931, the daughter of the late Vincent
and Germaine (Beaupre) Lynch. She was educated in area schools and worked as a legal
secretary at Shaines, Madrigan & McEachern. A hardworking mother of 4, she enjoyed
quilting and was a voracious reader. She also loved cooking, baking and spending as
much time as possible with her family.
Christina was predeceased in 1990 by her husband, Raymond O. Arel. Surviving family
members include a daughter, Louise Lambert; sons David and John Arel; daughter, Lori
Petto; 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren.
A period of gathering will be held Sunday, January 22nd from 5-6:30pm at Phaneuf
Funeral Home & Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue in Manchester. A memorial service
will take place at 6:30pm at the funeral home. Complimentary valet service will be
provided during the calling hours and service.
